Beginning Fly Fishing Class

Updated dates for Spring 2024 - Want to learn how to fly fish but need help figuring out where to start? Our beginning fly fishing class is the perfect way to learn how to fly fish.

You will start with a one-hour introduction class at our shop that goes over the basics, then you will go out with a guide on Rapid Creek in town for two hours to learn on the water. There is one guide for every two clients, and all equipment is included in the cost of the class - waders, boots, rods, flies, etc. are all included. The only thing you have to bring with you is a valid SD fishing license, which can be purchased online at the following link - SD Fishing License.
