Spanish Style CDC Baetis Emerger

This is a take on the Spanish silk bodied fly patterns. Silk is the ribbing material in this fly; it really stands out as a realistic segmentation on the abdomen. Split silk thread also forms the shuck for this emerger. This pattern can be tied in sizes 16-22, and the color and sizing can be adapted to other mayfly species such as PMDS.
