Hydropsyche Caddis Larva Fly Tying Materials

 

Based on the caddis larva patterns of Oliver Edwards, this pattern incorporates materials and techniques that offer tremendous realism. The Hydropsyche Caddis Larvae pattern fishes well in streams that have good numbers of free-swimming caddis. Spearfish Creek is one stream that fishes exceptionally well with this pattern locally.
