Ryan's Fire Ant

As temperatures start to warm, trout will start to key on terrestrials. Ant fly patterns are so effective that they deserve ample room in your fly box. Materials:

• Hook: Daiichi 1273 size 16-18
• Thread: Ultra Thread 70
• Abdomen: Red Fine and Dry Dubbing
• Wing: Blood Red CDC
• Hackle: Brown Hackle
