Whiting Pro Grade Saddle Cree #6

Cree is a three-color barred hackle: black, brown and white on the same feather. Wound by itself it gives you the mixed brown-and-grizzly look of an Adams, and it's one of the hardest Whiting colors to get.

This is a Pro Grade saddle, the most affordable way into a genuine Whiting Cree saddle. Saddle feathers are long with a narrow size spread, so one feather ties several flies.

Whiting grades skins by how many flies they'll tie, not by feather quality. Pro Grade is the entry grade, followed by Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
