An extremely effective fly for large Pike and Muskie, of which it was originally designed for. However, it also works well for largemouth and smallmouth bass, Great Lakes salmon, and even trout. The outlaw combines and excellent balance of flash and profile. The tapered teardrop shape accurately resembles many forage fish such as perch, ciscoes, and young walleyes that these big predators feed on. It also pushed water very well and is that large meal-ticket that these big boys are looking for. It is also easy to cast due to its mainly all-synthetic construction.
