Palomino Midge Fly Tying Materials

This is an awesome midge pattern from Bret Smith! It's an incredibly effective pattern on picky fish, and it's a nice simple tie. The Palomino Midge can be tied three ways - with a deer hair wing, an antron wing, or a CDC wing, and this video shows all three. Our guide Dave Gamet fishes this fly a lot, and has great success with it. Tie some up!

Materials

Hook: Tmc 2487 or Daiichi 1130 

Tail: Red Easy Magic Dub or Midge Diamond Braid 

Wing: Antron, CDC, or Deer Hair 

Abdomen: Natures Spirit Emergence Dubbing
