The Klinkhamer Special is one of our favorite dry flies for all-around use - it's buggy enough that it can look like a terrestrial insect, but it's also sparse enough that fish will take it as an emerging mayfly. Sizes 14 and 16 are the most popular, but slightly larger can work as well. This is a great dry fly to use in a dry-dropper rig as well!
