Our guiding season has been going strong, and we've been having great success! I guided Todd Butler from Wichita State College yesterday and we had a spectacular morning of fly fishing. I tied on a hopper-dropper setup first thing in the morning, and we never changed flies all day! A Chubby Chernobyl with a Jig Pheasant Tail tied on below was the ticket. Todd caught a fish on his second cast of the day, and we were into them for the remainder of the morning. I think that this year is shaping up to be one of the best years we've seen, and the hopper fishing should be spectacular in the coming months! Stop by the shop for some information and flies, or hire one of our expert guides to show you the ropes on the streams of the Black Hills!
