Perdigon Flies

Perdigon nymphs have taken the fly fishing world by storm. Perdigon means pellet in Spanish, as in a lead pellet from a shotshell. Due to their slender body and tungsten bead head, these flies sink quickly as a lead pellet would. Their ability to sink quickly gets the fly in front of the fish and keeps it there. Perdigon nymphs are extremely effective and can be used on a Euro nymphing rig as well as a traditional nymph rig. Smaller perdigons also work as a dropper in a dry or hopper-dropper rig.
