"This year, we proudly celebrate our 50th anniversary. It has been a journey filled with fun, firsts, camaraderie, and half a century of handcrafting high-performance fly rods.
In considering the most fitting tribute to the anglers who fish Scott rods, the rodsmiths who craft them, and the rod designs by Harry Wilson, Larry Kenney, and Jim Bartschi, we selected one rod from each decade that exemplifies Scott's innovation and has, in some way, changed the way we fish.
Each rod was chosen from an award-winning series of Scott rods, highly regarded by the anglers who use them. For these anglers, these rods are ones they will 'never part with.' Instead of replicating the originals, we built the blanks to specifications using a resto-mod approach for their finishing. These rods will instantly be recognizable to Scott history enthusiasts, but we are introducing some new features using today’s best-in-class components and construction techniques.
