Hans' Cicada Fly Tying Materials

Cicadas are an overlooked food source for trout in the summer months, and they can often bring fish to the surface that otherwise might not rise. Do they eat it for a Cicada? We're not sure, but they definitely like it!

• Wing Flash: Krystal Flash
• Wing: Web Wing Mottled Tan
• Overwing: Deer Hair
• Wingcase/Head: Black Foam
• Legs: Black Spanflex or Round Rubber
• Hackle: Grizzly or Brown Hackle
