RIO’s Permit line has been specifically designed for the Permit fly fisher. Each line features an easy casting taper that loads at close range, and yet empowers the cast for quick distance. The front taper and weight distribution reduces impact and allows for carefully presented casts so as not to spook wary permit, while maintaining enough weight to easily cast typical crab patterns. While this is marketed as a line for fishing for permit, this line crosses over and will work for bonefish in the 8 and 9 weights.
