Euro Jig Pheasant Tail Fly Tying Materials

The Pheasant Tail is one of the undisputed all-time best nymph patterns for trout, and this is an updated, spruced up version that we've found to be incredibly effective. The jig hook makes the fly ride hook up, which results in less snags and better hookups. The slotted tungsten bead gets the fly down fast. This is one of our most productive fly patterns for the Black Hills, and I've found it to be effective just about everywhere! Tie in sizes 12-16.
