Black Copper John

Part 1: Part2: A great all purpose nymph from John Barr. This is one of our favorite flies to fish as an attractor nymph. For some reason the black version works extremely well here in the Black Hills. Change the color of the wire and you can have a box full of versitle nymphs. These nymphs have proven highly effective on nearly all trout water. Best tied in sizes 14-20. Great fished below a dry, in a hopper-copper-dropper, or two fly nymph rig.
