Tying the Hippie Stomper

The Hippie Stomper is fast becoming our favorite attractor dry fly. It brings strikes from fish that have refused just about everything in the box. They love to eat the Hippie Stomper! Thank you Andrew Grillos for creating this versatile pattern. We fish this in a dry dropper rig as well as solo. The color variation in this vidoe is Royal (modeled on the Royal Wulff). It has been a very effective color, but we have also had success with black, red, lime, and purple versions. Tie some up and take them fishing!
