Whiting Bronze Grade Saddle Cree #12

Cree is a three-color barred hackle: black, brown and white on the same feather. Wound by itself it gives you the mixed brown-and-grizzly look of an Adams, and it's one of the hardest Whiting colors to get.

This is a Bronze Grade saddle. Saddle feathers are long with a narrow size spread, so one feather ties several flies, and a Bronze saddle will tie at least 500.

Whiting grades skins by how many flies they'll tie, not by feather quality. Pro Grade is the entry grade, followed by Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
