Beginning Fly Fishing Clases

Beginning Classes will be offered through Community Education in April. Beginning Classes will also be held through the shop on May 5th and 12th. Please call to sign up.

Beginning Fly Fishing Classes are a great introduction to the sport of fly fishing. The class runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The class focuses on skills necessary to make a successful start in flyfishing. Casting, Knot Tying, Entomology, and gear set up are all components of this class. Call to sign up today. Beginning Fly Tying Class

The next session of Beginning Fly Tying Classes will be October 2007. The class will run for four weeks and focuses on beginning tying skills. During the course of the class you will learn several key trout patterns. Call to sign up today. Cost of tuition: $80

Intermediate Fly Tying Class

The next session of Intermediate Fly Tying Classes will be October 2007. 7:00pm. The class will run for four weeks and focuses on intermediate tying skills. Call to sign up today. Cost of tuition: $80

Nymph Fishing Class

The next session of this class will be held on May 13th. Please call for more information and to enroll.

This one day class focuses on successful nymph fishing strategies and techniques. Students will learn the basics of nymphing with indicators, multiple flies, and weights. In addition, the class will teach students alternatives to common nymph fishing techniques. This class will better your understanding of Black Hills Trout streams, entomology, and will help you catch more fish. Call to sign up today. Cost of tuition: $65
